Enviro-Melt has the lowest environmental impact of an ice melting pellet on the market today. This non-corrosive formula penetrates quickly to dissolve frost, snow and ice accumulations from a wide variety of surfaces.
The non-chloride Enviro-Melt is used for customers that are concerned with environmental issues and or corrosion. This material is a blend of neutralized organic acids and urea. Materials in this formula have been shown to be non corrosive to metal, cement, and sensitive surfaces when used as directed. This product is the only choice for safety and effectiveness when compared to sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium chloride, and the blends containing those materials.
Current Enviro-Melt users include transportation departments, public works agencies, property management groups, solar panel installation and maintenance firms, and industrial facilities requiring a high performance deicer. This product is appropriate for direct application when speed is critical. It is also suitable for use on outdoor mechanical handling systems such as conveyors and elevators, as well as on walkways, rail switches and virtually all outdoor deicing applications.
Use this product to achieve a wet, ice-free surface at various temperatures. These rates should be adjusted based on local conditions and experience. Over- application may result in slippery conditions.
General Application: Spread evenly at a rate of 1/4 lb per square yard.
